Peer Review Policy
Material Science Research India journal follows Double-Blind Peer Review according to which Reviewers & the author(s) are not aware of each other’s identity.
All the manuscripts undergoes two stage review process, the review is being done simultaneously by a minimum of two members of the international scientific committee. All articles that goes through rigorous blind peer review system are based on initial editor screening and involving international refereeing, ensures that articles meet the highest standards of quality.
Double blind peer review is applied in order to avoid any conflict of interest or any biased view as the Author anonymity prevents any favour in review, which helps to judged research fairly. Also the research done by prestigious or renowned authors can be considered only on the basis of the content of their papers, rather than their reputation.
The main aim of this journal is to maintain the highest standards of peer review while increasing the efficiency of the process. The key characteristics are listed below:
- Managing Editors and Editorial Assistants provide the administrative support that allows the journal to maintain the integrity of peer review while delivering rapid turn around and maximum efficiency to authors, reviewers and editors alike.
- Members of the international Editorial Board lend insight and guidance to the Editors-in-Chief generally and to assist decision making on specific submissions.
- All publication decisions are made by the journals’ Editors-in-Chief / Executive Editor on the basis of the reviews provided.
